Gifts for Your Post Grad Kid (That they’d actually want…)
It’s hard shopping for your adult kids, or young adults in your life. As a young adult (with not a lot of spare spending money), I’ve made a list for you that doesn’t include ‘giftcards’ and ‘money’.

Gifts Your Girlfriend Actually Wants (2025)

KitchenAid Stand Mixer
Okay, we’re starting off strong with one of the most expensive options. This is an amazing gift for anyone in your life who likes to cook or bake, or wants to get into baking. They have a bunch of different colors and pricing options, but this would be a great gift for someone who’s moving off on their own for the first time.

Bombas Socks
Don’t laugh… we all wear socks. Bombas is an ethical brand, with comfortable socks, that are a little more expensive than just plain jane socks. We all want ’em, but not many of us as young adult have money to spend on fancy socks.

Ugg Blanket
I hate to admit it, but these ridiculously expensive blankets are really cozy and worth every penny. If you have a young adult in your life, or you’re shopping for someone who just finished college, just know that they are tired and this blanket would get them the stress free sleep that they need.

Hydro Flask (water bottles, coffee tumblers, lunch boxes)
I feel like this is such a safe option, especially if you’re shopping for for a young adult with a new job. Besides, who doesn’t like a new water bottle every now and again?

Self Help Books
I’ve read this book, not once but twice. It’s been kind of an eye opener for me in college and afterwards, and might be helpful for those young adults in your life.
It’s a short read-I’m not even a reader and I read it quick (like seriously this is the only book I’ve read over the past four years)
If this isn’t your cup of tea, maybe another book is. I’ve found a lot of free time after getting a post grad job, that 5-9pm after work goes slow if you don’t have hobbies.
