Gifts Your Boyfriend Actually Wants in 2025
We all know how hard it can be to shop for the men in our life. I recently moved in with my boyfriend, and take this as a warning that gift shopping only gets harder when you live together. I love gift giving, and value giving thoughtful gifts that are actually useful. It’s 2025, no more wasting money on gifts that won’t be used!
Everything in this list is off of Amazon, but be cautious to shop around or check out other brands!

Espresso Machine
Okay… maybe this one is particular to my boyfriend. But, if your boyfriend, or any man in your life is a big coffee drinker, this is the way to go. Bonus points if you also like coffee… (We love gifts for ‘him’ that work for us too!).
You can find cheaper ones online, but I think with something like an Espresso Machine, you pay for the quality. I did some research, and this is is only around $100 and has great reviews.

On Cloud Sneakers
Guys I’m telling you- these shoes are the best. I own a pair and my boyfriend does too, and we both are wearing them everyday. They are cute, they are comfortable, they are machine washable!
I don’t know about the men in your life, but mine gets his shoes dirty… a lot. After so many washes, it might just be time for a new pair, and depending on the model you get, you can do it for pretty cheap.

Fossil Men’s Leather Hand Watch
Even if your man isn’t a watch wearer right now, he will be if you find him the right one. This one is a very affordable option for a ‘fancy’ watch, but to be honest you may want to go with a silver or gold watch over a brown leather.
Silver and gold are easier to match with, and sometimes outfit matching isn’t a strong trait for men…
If you’re hesitant about getting him a watch and want to test the waters first, you can check out this one (extremely similar, lower price)!

Carhartt Men’s Quarter Zip Sweatshirt
My boyfriend’s job allows him to dress business casual, and quarter zips such as this one are what he wears most days. If you’re shopping for a man who can’t wear this to work, it’s still super cute to wear for a casual dinner or lounging around!
Ladies, this is another example of a gift that we can use too… In fact I’m wearing my boyfriends quarter zip right now. $50 and we BOTH get a sweater? Deal.

Personalized Decor
These types of gifts will always be my favorites both to give and to receive. I was given this exact gift last Christmas and am still utterly in love with it. Mine is an epoxy map of the bay I grew up on in the Upper Peninsula, and it’s perfect.
If your significant other is from an area near water, I definitely recommend doing this. You could also do the neighborhood he grew up in, or his favorite place to travel. Better yet, it could be a map of somewhere you guys have traveled together!
This gift ends up being a little more expensive, but in my opinion, worth it. I got mine from a local craft show in Michigan, but Etsy has many great options.

How to Buy Sports Cards (for those who know nothing about buying sports cards)
If you’re anything like me, you may have a boyfriend who likes sports cards and buys/sells them. However, I don’t. So now that his birthday is rolling around and I’m wondering what to get it, I want to sports cards but wasn’t sure how. If you’re like me, you’ll want to keep reading.
Even if your man isn’t into cards, sports cards are often an investment, and who doesn’t like making money? If you want to get him something like this (and have him actually make money off it at some point), here’s what you should do:
1. Know what team or player is his favorite (someone currently, actively on a team)
2. Get on ebay, and search up that player followed by “sports card”
3. Start shopping! Here’s what to pay attention to:
- Is the number the athlete is wearing in the card the same number he currently wears? You want the answer to be yes.
- How many cards like this were manufactured? Either on the card, in the listing, or both will say a number (either out of # OR “Bo Nix card #299). The less cards that exist, or the lower the number, the better.
- Ideally you’d purchase a card lower than 10
- Cards can be graded, anything under a 9 may not be worth your time. Check listings for grades, or feel comfortable asking the seller if it has been graded before.
You got this.
